Mojo Kojo teamed up with K Swiss to make a one off outfit for their Generation K project. My inspiration for the print came from the 1970s Lagos dance scene, this is when Afrobeat music first started to gain popularity.
I worked with illustrator @mollysmithdesign to create the fabric design. On the fabric you can see dancing women wearing the classic bantu knots hairstyle, traditionally worn by women of African descent. You can also see the boomboxes and record players on the fabric which were popular in the 70s era too.
