International Women's Month 2021

it's women's month...

We're celebrating all the wonderful daughters, mothers, sisters & friends.

We thought we'll do a segment on our first female non-manufacturing member of staff, Miss Moon, who joined us in Summer 2020. The shoot was in our garment studio in Lagos, Nigeria.

She is styled in our most popular fits from our late 2020 drop and also the brand new 'Meow Meow' Bucket Hat & Bumbag set. You can shop this here!

Read our brief Q&A with Moon below:

Q& A

Mojo Kojo - What makes international women’s day important to you?

Moon - It's a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage by ordinary women, playing extraordinary roles.

Mojo Kojo -What has been your most interesting Mojo Kojo project so far?

Moon - Researching new garment fits and creating a unique African inspired backdrop for our photo studio (more on that soon).

Mojo Kojo - What value do you think you’ve brought to Mojo Kojo since arriving?

Moon -I have added value by sharing my fashion knowledge and being a problem solver in terms of pattern placements to avoid fabric wastage. I also take time to study our customers to know the best fabric patterns and quality to suit their needs.
